When Life Doesn’t Go as Planned (and Why I’m Not Quitting My Reset)

Today wasn’t the day I thought it would be… at all.
I had big plans — batching content, organizing my business page, scheduling posts, knocking out a whole list of “boss girl” things.

Instead?
I spent most of my day finishing a digital product, running life errands, handling laundry, cooking dinner, helping my husband with his car situation, and barely coming up for air.

Not exactly the day I had written in my journal this morning.

But here’s the truth I am learning (slowly, stubbornly, with a very real cup of caffeine):
Discipline doesn’t always look like productivity.
Sometimes discipline is simply not giving up on yourself when the day goes sideways.

I didn’t get everything done today — but I still showed up.
I still kept my reset going.
And that counts.

Tomorrow is my husband’s birthday, and yes… I’ll be running around again. But in between the errands and family time, I will be working. I’ll be batching content, updating my business page, posting reels, and keeping my stories alive — the real-life behind-the-scenes kind, not the perfectly curated kind.

Because women like us don’t need “perfect.”
We need doable.
We need honest.
We need the kind of consistency that fits real life, not the imaginary schedules we pin on Pinterest.

If you’re in a season where your days feel chaotic, heavy, or just outright unproductive — I see you. I’m right there with you. But we’re not quitting. Not our health, not our faith, not our goals, not our resets.

We’re here for progress, not perfection.
And tomorrow, we begin again.

If you’re craving a simple, faith-rooted way to reset through the holiday chaos, my new Holiday Self-Care Checklist just dropped. It’s the exact tool I’m using to stay grounded while navigating mom life, hormones, work, and the holidays without losing my mind.

You can find it in my shop or in my stories today.
